Can you see at your beautiful reflection & consider yourself as you would those you love most?
It’s only one of the deepest challenges of humanity. And add to that of course the extra stormy pillowed layers of being a highly sensitive person, empath or introvert.
So how do you get there?
How do you learn to love yourself, feel confident and stand up for yourself ?
⭐Step 1. You get conscious of yourself. Learn that its okay to not be okay and everyone has bad days. That it’s okay to not be /do/follow/emulate/look like anyone else and what or how they do things
AND IT DOESN’T MEAN THERE’S ANYTHING WRONG WITH YOU
💫Step 2. did you get that? I mean I put it in all caps and stuff for emphasis. Maybe go back and read that again.
✴️Step 3. Change doesn’t happen until you’re ready to see what isn’t working. That sounds easy right?
But this is the work. Looking at the things that are difficult, that are hard, that you don’t like about yourself. Then trying to figure out when did this dislike of me happen? Write it out. sing it out. dance it out. do whatever you need to do but let it come to the surface and FEEL IT.
You Don’t Have To Do This Alone!
Get help. Get support. Find someone you love or trust or can pay to be impartial. Mental health counseling is pretty good. The support I offer is pretty good.
✨Step 4. Now you let it all go. Because you have the awareness and you don’t have to dwell in it.
🌟Step 5. You show up for yourself. You learn how to say no. Get some boundaries in place.
Finally understand that every time you do something where you put yourself first, it takes you up a notch on the confidence ladder.
The more you do, the easier it becomes to like yourself. And then after a while like evolves to love.
Then suddenly you’re catching your reflection and you’re not wincing. Not turning away or putting yourself down. Looking at yourself in the mirror and going “dang girl, you’re pretty freaking amazing!”
So if I can see that in you. And othes see it. Are you ready to see it now?
Either the unwanted behaviour will disappear or they will. Either way, its win-win!
