Nope. You don't have to do this anymore. You don't have to buy into all the b******* of diet culture and the mega millions push that happens this time of year.

You don't have to feel like crap because you're stressed out or sad or anxious or grieving and ended up eating. or because you have discovered you"re a being of light and grounding so much energy right now for yourself and all of those around you, that your body needs more fuel.

You're sensitive and likely super aware of overthinking and maybe dealing with OCD or ptsd.Your brain is using a lot of fuel even if you don't recognize it, and it's ok to be hungry.

You don't have to feel like crap because you're anything other than what you are!

It doesn't matter what other people weigh or how they dress or how they look or what they're doing in their lives. It doesn't mean anything.

What does have meaning. And what does have weight, if you will excuse the intentional pun here, is that you are listening to what you need.

So darling one, what is your body asking from you right now?

it might not even be food. You might actually be thirsty. You might need a hug. You might need some playtime or creativity.

But if it is a food craving, can you listen to it?

It might seem unusual. It might seem completely contrary to what you "think" you should be eating. but can you trust your inner knowing and that voice inside?

And if she's panicked and frightened or anxious and wants Nico wafers, then have a Nico wafer. Enjoy it. Enjoy every last moment of it and you will find that it satisfies.

And why? Because your body understands that you are beginning to listen and Trust her. And also it means that our ancient little reptile brain that can get scared or wanting and feeling lack and less than, it now understands that you can hear it.

And that is a game changer.
That is where eating for health truly happens.

I know what burnout feels like. And I'm getting pretty close.

I'm taking a break from Instagram for a while. I might post here and there but I've let go of any investment in it at the moment. I just can't anymore.

For those of you that see this I thank you so much for your ongoing support even if it's behind the scenes.

Even if I never know you're there.

Even if it's just a quick glance because you like the pretty pictures or God forbid you actually read the captions, LOL

I think until IG and FB get themselves sorted out and I can actually post and reach more than 5 people at once this might be a really long break indeed.

But you know me.

The thing that makes me the most satisfied is helping other people when I feel crappy so who knows I might be back sooner than you think.

Meanwhile] I'm off to take care of me.
